Thanks to the efforts of parents, students, administration and coaches from our area and around the State, the OSAA has reconsidered the adoption of XC as solely an individual sport. I have received confirmation from the 5A and 6A XC reps on this matter.

The OSAA is considering taking away the team competition at the State Meet and making cross country an individual sport. Anybody who has ever run cross knows that it’s a team sport.
